COVID 19

From the PA State Board of Cosmetology
GUIDANCE FOR COSMETOLOGY SALONS PERMITTED TO OPERATE DURING MITIGATION MEASURES TO ENSURE THE SAFETY AND HEALTH OF EMPLOYEES AND THE PUBLIC
ISSUED 06/14/2020; UPDATED 10/15/2020; LAST UPDATED 05/25/2021
On 5/13/21, the CDC provided guidance that fully vaccinated individuals can resume activities that they did prior to the pandemic without wearing a mask or physically distancing except where required by law, rule, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance. Therefore, businesses are to follow CDC guidance, and the previous “Guidance for Cosmetology Salons and Cosmetology School Clinics Permitted to Operate During the Green Phase to Ensure the Safety and Health of Employees and the Public” has been rescinded.

Emilaine Skincare Studio enhancing your safety

Cleanliness and safety has always been a part of my routine at the studio. Though I am fully vaccinated, I will continue to wear a mask when I am providing a service that puts me in close contact with your face - this would be ALL facials, tinting, and waxing. I always wear gloves when performing any service. Additionally, I sanitize the treatment room and bathroom in between each client and wipe the door knobs and high touch areas with sanitizing wipes throughout the day. I have also invested in two air purifiers - one for each room.

You may opt to prepay for your services from your home computer to minimize contact.  I ask that you not come in to the studio if you are not feeling well even if its just the slightest cold. Please reschedule your appointment if you are taking antibiotics or have had your COVID vaccination within the past 7 days.
